With just three days left before the powerful series finale of TNT’s The Closer, fans of the blockbuster series have set a Guinness World Record™ for most contributions ever on a greeting card.

Since February, more than 17,000 of The Closer‘s fans have signed a digital “Thank-Yew” greeting card expressing what the show has meant to them.  At a special Hollywood screening for some of The Closer‘s biggest fans this week, TNT unveiled a 10-foot version of the “Thank-Yew” greeting card reflecting the card’s record-breaking total of hand-written contributions, which now stands at 1,970.

The series finale of The Closer is set to air on TNT Monday, Aug. 13, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), followed by the series premiere of Major Crimes.
