Host Rich Eisen greets the competitors as they arrive in the forbidding land of the Louisiana bayou – home to alligators, cottonmouth snakes, leeches and mosquitoes. The first team to make it through the swamp will be $100,000 richer.

Host Rich Eisen greets the episode’s three teams at the Western Region Power Station, a huge 63-mega-watt power plant in Southern California. To win The Great Escape and $100,000, the teams must navigate through a maze of pipes and unfamiliar structures, avoid patrolling guards and be the first to reach Rich, who will be waiting with the cash prize. The rules are explained, the teams are locked up and the escape is on.

In this week’s episode, three teams are transported in an armored van through the dark streets of downtown Los Angeles. They are then blindfolded, unloaded from the vehicle and escorted into the depths of this super populated city.

In “Escape from the Air Force Boneyard,” three teams are unloaded from a military cargo truck and placed in the middle of an enormous airplane storage field. They have their blindfolds removed and listen to host Rich Eisen as he explains the rules. Each team must escape detainment, tough it out through four separate stages of competition and complete the challenge by locating the transport zone and the host. The first team to complete their mission will win $100,000.

Three teams are blindfolded and transported in military-grade hummers to a top-secret missile silo in the Arizona desert. The teams have their blindfolds removed to see the massive Titan Missile Silo. They must race to the finish to win $100,000. After host Rich Eisen explains the rules, the teams are led to the detainment zone, and the escape is on.

In the third episode of TNT’s The Great Escape, three teams of two are blindfolded and taken to a 165-year-old mental institution in Ione, Calif. The teams have their blindfolds removed and are visibly frightened by the gothic asylum. To win $100,000, each team must overcome their fears and make it out of the institution. After host Rich Eisen explains the rules, the teams are escorted to the detainment zone, and the escape is on.

In the second episode of The Great Escape, three teams must break out of the massive U.S.S. Hornet in order to win $100,000. After Rich Eisen explains the rules, the teams are locked up, and the escape is on.
