TNT to Roll Out 10 Original Series This Summer, Including More Scripted Dramas than any other basic cable network ever


TNT, home to more hit dramas than any other cable network, is preparing to roll out a stellar summer lineup of 10 original series, including five returning hits – RIZZOLI & ISLES, MAJOR CRIMES, PERCEPTION, DALLAS and FRANKLIN & BASH – and the launch of MURDER IN THE FIRST, a powerful new crime drama from 10-time Emmy®-winning executive producer Steven Bochco. These six shows join the previously announced season premiere of FALLING SKIES and the debuts of the exciting new series THE LAST SHIP and LEGENDS in giving TNT a total of nine scripted dramas this summer, the most ever for a basic cable network. In addition, TNT’s unscripted crime-investigation series COLD JUSTICE, which is currently in its second season, will join the lineup with a run of new episodes.

TNT and TBS Bringing “Falling Skies,” “Legends,” “The Last Ship” and “The Pete Holmes Show” to SXSW


TNT and TBS are heading to SXSW, and they’re bringing with them stars and producers of such series as TNT’s FALLING SKIES and new dramas THE LAST SHIP and LEGENDS, as well as TBS’s late-night series THE PETE HOLMES SHOW. On Monday, March 10, the networks will stage two panels during the annual music, film and interactive conference and festival held in Austin, Texas. That night, TNT will hold a special First Look Watch Party for THE LAST SHIP, giving SXSW attendees the opportunity to catch the entire first episode of the action-packed series from executive producer Michael Bay. Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra and Adam Baldwin are scheduled to appear at the Watch Party.

TNT and TBS invade NY Comic Con with four panels


Top-rated cable networks TBS and TNT are preparing to invade New York Comic Con with four exciting panels for the Oct. 10-13 event. TNT will present panels for its epic sci-fi series FALLING SKIES, which returns for its fourth season in summer 2014, and eagerly anticipated noir drama MOB CITY, which premieres Dec. 4. And TBS will stage panels for the hit competition show KING OF THE NERDS, which returns for its second season Jan. 23, and the upcoming late-night series THE PETE HOLMES SHOW, which premieres Oct. 28. In addition, TBS is sponsoring a special live edition of the popular “If I Were You” podcast, guest-starring Pete Holmes.

TNT and worldwide video game publisher Little Orbit today announced a partnership to bring the epic alien-invasion television series FALLING SKIES to multiple video game consoles. The FALLING SKIES video games will grab a foothold in the gaming world with a mobile game due out this holiday season and multiple consoles launching in 2014. Video games will tie directly into the television series with a scenario that will weave itself into the existing universe and feature voice work by the show’s actors.
