Erin Felentzer Joins Turner Broadcasting as Vice President of Public Relations, TNT

Erin FelentzerErin Felentzer has joined Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. as vice president of public relations for TNT. Felentzer is responsible for leading all publicity efforts in support of TNT and its lineup of top-rated original dramas, such as Dallas, Rizzoli & Isles, Falling Skies and Major Crimes. Her duties include crafting publicity strategy for the network’s programming and supervising the publicity staff on campaign development and execution, press events and awards submissions. Felentzer is based in Atlanta and reports to Karen Cassell, senior vice president of public relations, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.

“The wealth of experience and knowledge Erin brings to TNT, including her work on some of the biggest drama series of the past decade, is truly invaluable,” said Cassell.  ”We are very fortunate to have Erin leading TNT’s publicity team as the network continues to expand its slate of original series.”

Felentzer comes to TNT from ABC Entertainment Group, Inc., where she most recently served as vice president of communications, responsible for all trade and consumer publicity campaigns for network and studio primetime and late-night series. She was promoted to that position after having served as director of media relations from 2009 to 2011.

Felentzer served as director of publicity for ABC Studios from 2002 to 2009, developing and executing campaigns in support of such hit series as Desperate Housewives, Lost, Ugly Betty, Alias and 8 Simple Rules. Prior to that, Felentzer worked as a public relations consultant, working with such clients as FOX, LMNO Productions Rocket Science Laboratories and Rogers & Cowan. She began her career as a junior publicist at Kelly Bush Public Relations (now known as IDPR).

Felentzer holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida. Her work has been recognized with two Maxwell Weinberg Publicist Showmanship Awards, one in 2005 for Desperate Housewives and another in 2006 for Lost. Her work on 8 Simple Rules received a nomination for the award in 2005.
