TBS and TNT are about to become the first national entertainment networks in the industry to stream on-air content live across multiple platforms 24/7, including through the networks’ websites and a pair of newly created Watch TNT and Watch TBS apps. Live streaming is the latest phase in the rollout of TV Everywhere, the industry-wide initiative that gives subscribers to cable, satellite and telco video services access to more of their favorite shows across a wide range of digital platforms.

The slate reflects the network’s programming strategies, which were laid out by network executives during TNT and TBS’s annual Upfront presentation today in New York. TNT Greenlights “INSIDE JOB,” Unscripted Series that Puts Job Candidates through Unique Screening Process

TNT has greenlit INSIDE JOB, a new unscripted series that puts executive job candidates through a truly unique screening process that includes being spied upon by a company insider in order to find the most suitable candidate. The series is being produced for TNT by All3Media America/Studio Lambert (“Undercover Boss,” “The Million Second Quiz”), with creator Stephen Lambert and Eli Holzman serving as executive producers.

TNT has ordered a second season of the powerful docudrama BOSTON’S FINEST, which recently completed its first season. The unscripted series offers viewers an up-close and very personal look at the men and women of the Boston Police Department and what it takes to protect one of America’s greatest and most distinctive cities. TNT has ordered six episodes for the second season of BOSTON’S FINEST, which is set to return in early 2014. As part of the TNT renewal, sister network CNN plans to encore the series.

Amazon.com, Inc. today announced exclusive content licensing agreements with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution to add the epic TNT drama series “Falling Skies” and the Warner Bros. Television-produced TNT series “The Closer” to its Prime Instant Video catalog, giving Prime members instant access to these titles at no additional cost.
